Neuschwanstein Castle was commissioned by Ludwig II as a homage for Richard Wagner.


Where?

The castle is located near a small town called Schwangau or Hohenschwangau in the southern tip of Germany.


How to get there?
The least expensive is to use public transportation since this tourist attraction is very accessible via local public transportation. First take train to Fussen, from Fussen take bus to Hohenschwangau (town nearest to castle).

How much does it cost?
As of this writing, it cost 1.80 Euro for Adults
